B-I-N-G-O!

Start the School Year with BINGO! - 9/22/2010

Start the school year the right way - with BINGO! We will be hosting the first bingo night of our scholarship year on Wednesday, September 22nd in the school cafeteria. Doors open at 7pm, first game starts at 7:30. $20 to get in includes food (meatball hoagies!) and 2 cards that you can play all night. Extra cards for the night are $5 and there are 'specials'. This will be a 50-50 prize night, meaning that half of the money collected from admission and card sales will be used as prizes. So, the more folks that come, the bigger the pot. There will be extra food and drinks to purchase too. The other half that is collected will go towards our annual scholarship program. We're hoping for another great turnout so that we can be very generous to more college bound high school students. Please plan to come and play so that our high school seniors can be the big winners!

Blood Drive on August 1st

We are currently organizing a blood drive at St. Ann's Church Cafeteria, which will take place on Sunday August 1st from 9am to 2pm. Our area is always in need of donated blood. We hope to have a tremendous response from our parishoners who are willing to roll up their sleves and donate. There is no substitute for human blood and so the only source for the people who need it - is YOU.  Please donate if you can. Visit www.giveapint.org/donate/facts for some interesting facts about blood donation. For more information or to make an appointment, go to the 'Contact Us' page and leave us a confidential message or call us at 484-519-0562 A Knight from our council will get in touch with you. Thank you!

It offers a substantial degree of financial peace of mind when planning for the future of the family. The recent business headlines are filled with questions about our country's financial markets and we've seen wild swings in the investment community. However, the Knights of Columbus insurance program remains solid and secure.

40 Days for Life
HearYeFrom The NetBy Knight Blogger on9/19/2008 11:37 AM

This fall, from September 24 - November 2, our community will be one of more than 170 cities in 45 states joining together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign.  These days of prayer, fasting, vigils and community outreach are an effort to, with God's help, bring about the beginning of the end of abortion in our city.  To learn more, vis ...

Voter Registration
HearYeFrom The NetBy Knight Blogger on9/19/2008 11:26 AM

Voting is still one of the last things that is tax-free. It is everyone's right and is your best way to help shape the way you want to be governed. However, to vote in the November 4th election this year, you must be registered by October 6th. In addition, if you won't be able to go to your polling place to cast your ballot, you can vote using an absentee ballot. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is October 28th.

Fathers For Good
HearYeFrom The NetBy Knight Blogger on9/19/2008 11:18 AM

Just last month, the KofC launched a new initiative to "guide men in the great adventure of fatherhood and provide the resources, tools and encouragement they need to become the fathers they are meant to be". They help with the challenges facing fathers today, and talk about a father's relationship with God, their kids and their wife. This looks like a super site, so visit it for yourself (and your family) at:
