Annual Lenten Fish Dinner - 02/24/2012Once again, we will be preparing and serving a delicious fish dinner in our parish cafeteria. Bring your appetite for a tasty dinner which includes fish, fries, soup, cole slaw, tea, coffee, soda and juice boxes. Mac-n-cheese will be available for the kiddies. Reservations can be made using the attached form, just click here. The cost for adults is $8.50 in advance ($9.50 at the door). Kids 6-12 are only $5 and kids under 6 are free! It's a great deal for a super supper. A fantastic assortment of homemade desserts will be there to tempt your sweet tooth. Make your reservation today, and don't forget to invite your friends too. Proceeds from this event will be used to benefit council programs. |

June 6, 1944, 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France. General Dwight D. Eisenhower called the operation a crusade in which “we will accept nothing less than full victory.” More than 5,000 Ships and 13,000 aircraft supported the D-Day invasion, and by day’s end on June 6, the Allies gained a foot- hold in Normandy.
