Important - Annual Lenten Fish Dinner Postponed
New Date is Friday 03/05/2010

Who knew the groundhog was right this time? Due to the heavy snows forecast for 2/25 and 2/26, we are postponing the Annual Lenten Fish Fry until Friday 3/5 - a one week delay.

Once again, we will be preparing and serving a delicious fish dinner in our parish cafeteria. Bring your appetite for a tasty dinner which includes fish, fries, soup, cole slaw, tea, coffee, soda and juice boxes. Mac-n-cheese will be available for the kiddies. Reservations can be made using the attached form, just click here. The cost for adults is $8.50 in advance ($9.50 at the door). Kids 6-12 are only $5 and kids under 6 are free! It's a great deal for a super supper. A fantastic assortment of homemade desserts will be there to tempt your sweet tooth. Make your reservation today, and don't forget to invite your friends too. Proceeds from this event will be used to benefit vocations.

This is more of a public service announcement for our area. However, if you aren't from around here, you should look into a similar program through your local law enforcement agency.

The Pennsylvania State Police will be at the following locations using the child identification unit known as Fot-O Kid:

Emmaus EMS Open House
100 North 6th St.,Emmaus, PA
Saturday, May 16th from 10 am – 2 pm

and also at:

Macungie EMS Open House
5550 North Walnut St.,Macungie, PA
Saturday, May 30th from 11 am – 3 pm

The State Police encourages anyone with a child that is less than 15 years of age to come and participate.  Two cards are filled out and laminated with your child’s biographical information, right thumb print and picture in case your child ever gets lost or goes missing. Please stop by and take advantage of this free and valuable service. It could very much hasten the return of your child to you in the event something separates you.
