Help Simon!

Simon's Saturday 2/18/2012

Simon is a 2nd grade student at St. Ann's School. He's been fighting leukemia for most of his life and wil be undergoing a bone marrow transplant on February 9th. There are many children and adults who also need this life saving transplant - anyone of them could be your child, sibling, parent or friend. So, let's celebrate Simon and his fight by getting swabbed. February 18th will be a bone marrow donor drive. A quick cheek swab and you will be entered into the donor database. It's fast, easy and saves lives. Please click here for a copy of the flyer with more information. Threats to Defense of Marriage and Pro-Life Measures

Recent posts on the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference website details several new challenges and threats to the Defense of Marriage and Pro-Life measures that the K of C is actively supporting. The Iowa Supreme Court has overturned their state marriage law, effectively legalizing gay marriage.

The PA legislature is trying to fast-track a bill making sexual orientation a protected class under PA state law. Go to the PCC website or click here to find out how to urge your PA state rep to vote NO to this legislation.
