Their numbers have dwindled down to four elderly nuns plus four caretaker nuns from the Philippines. Because they are a cloistered order\, meaning they never leave the monastery\, they have few resources. Their supporters and donors are also generally elderly and dwindling. These holy women are in dire need of food and household supplies. \n\n\n\nTherefore the Knights are holding a Food Drive for the nuns on Saturday\, May 21\, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Parish Life Center on Fairview Street\, Emmaus. Please drop off non-perishable food and household supplies between those hours. The Knights will box your donations and deliver them to the monastery. \n\n\n\nITEMS TO DONATE: The nuns lead simple lives therefore no spicy food and no caffeine please. SUMMARY:April Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Once again\, our very fine Knights will be at the Walmart in Trexlertown collecting non-perishable food items for the Second Harvest Food Bank and school supplies for Mercy Special Learning Center. This annual event helps stock the local food pantry which feeds countless neighbors and also gives disabled children a head start for the new school year. All you need to do is go shopping at the Walmart as usual\, but just pick up a few extra items that we need. When you leave\, just drop off the bag with us. It couldn’t be easier. We truly appreciate your generosity!

DESCRIPTION:All are welcome! Please join us and bring your appetite to the Knights of Columbus Parish Breakfast. We’ll be flipping flapjacks all morning. All proceeds will be used to support the charitable programs of your Knights Council #12886. The menu includes: pancakes\, french toast\, eggs\, bacon\, pork roll or sausage & hash browns as well as beverages and a fantastic assortment of homemade desserts – YUM!. Adults are $8 \, children 6-12 are $4 (5 and under are free). Take out is available and no advance registration is needed.
