Record Harvest Closes Out 2023 Season!

The Garden of Mercy ended its season on Oct. 15 with another amazing total—3,435.2 lbs. of fresh vegetables (and the occasional fruits) were sent to Lehigh Valley food pantries to distribute to families experiencing food insecurity. It was an official record year. Each year the parish garden produces more and more! We can only imagine how these fresh produce donations are appreciated by families as they pick up their box of nonperishable foods at the food pantry. It is a special, important, and beautiful way to live out this morning’s Gospel of charity and loving others–by giving to those most in need. So much hard work goes into this ministry. Thank you to all our garden volunteers and home garden donors. If you would like to volunteer in the Garden of Mercy next year, contact Bruce at bruce1free@gmail.com and lend a hand!
