Our Dinner Dance was a big success! Over 100 guests attended a night of beautifully decorated tables, good food, and good music.
Thank you very much to those Knights who worked on the VDD Committee, who advertised the event with posters and flyers, who kept track of ticket sales and did the table assignments, who spoke at masses and manned the church lobby, who helped with setup on Saturday and takedown on Sunday, who donated items for the basket raffle, who helped prepare the meal, who provided beverage service, who emceed the event, and who helped strip the tables at night’s end.
We are also very grateful to WASA for the wonderful job they did with the table decorations and the sumptuous dessert buffet.
Also, thanks go to our chefs, Nancy Kellner and John Mcfee, the Parish Council members who helped with clean-up, scouts from troops 80 and 439, our bartenders, Sharon Ulicny and Vince and Kelsey Tranguch, and, of course, to the many Knights who contributed many hours of volunteer service.
Most of all, we are thankful for all our guests who attended. Their generosity has greatly benefited Our Lady’s Helpers. We were able to raise $4000 toward their mobile ultrasound unit as they try to help women consider alternatives to abortion.
